Desmopressin
Desmopressin is a synthetic analogue of the antidiuretic hormone vasopressin. It is primarily used to treat nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting), diabetes insipidus, and certain bleeding disorders.
Finasteride
Finasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor used to treat an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia) and male pattern hair loss. It works by decreasing the amount of the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body.
Tamsulosin
Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. It is primarily used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH).
Ciprofloxacin
Ciprofloxacin is a prominent, second-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It is characterised by its broad-spectrum bactericidal activity, particularly against Gram-negative bacteria. It is frequently utilised for treating a variety of challenging infections, including complicated urinary tract infections, severe gastroenteritis, bone and joint infections, and certain types of respiratory tract infections.
