Children's health check-up plan

1. Paediatric specialist pre-examination consultation
   • A paediatric specialist will conduct a preliminary physical examination of the baby to understand and screen the child's basic physical condition and medical history.

2. Blood draw
   • The child needs to go to the laboratory for a blood test.
3. Laboratory test
   • Laboratory test samples
4. Paediatric specialist explains report
   • Approximately 7-14 working days later, parents will visit Hui'er Paediatric Medical Centre to receive a doctor's explanation of the report, understand their child's physical condition, and identify potential health issues and risks. During this time, professional medical advice can be sought from the doctor.

• Before blood draw:Please refrain from eating or drinking for 8 hours before your examination. On the day of your medical check-up, stop taking diabetes medication, Chinese herbal medicine, and high blood pressure medication. For two days prior to the examination, please minimise your intake of red meat, spicy food, and alcohol.
• Before carrying out a static ECG:On the day, avoid applying lotion, antiperspirant or talcum powder.

• [Option 1] Collect a stool sample container from our centre the day before your examination. Upon collecting your stool sample at home, please return it to our centre.
• [Option 2] Collect stool sample bottle on the day of the check-up, return stool sample on the same day
• [Option 3] Collect the stool sample bottle at the time of the examination and take it home, then submit the stool sample later.

After collecting a stool sample, you must withinWithin 24 hoursTo be returned to this centre.

Collecting a stool sample:

1. First, use tape to attach a bin bag or cling film to the toilet seat, then lower the toilet lid before using it.
2. Collect a stool sample roughly the size of a peanut. (Please note: try to avoid contamination of the sample with urine, toilet water, tissue paper, etc., as this may affect test results.)
