The Department of Health's Centre for Health Protection has stated that laboratory monitoring has recently found an increase in cases testing positive for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in respiratory samples. The Centre urges the public to be vigilant and prevent respiratory illnesses, and has written to all schools across Hong Kong calling for increased awareness.
