Faced with their child's eczema, many parents have already put them on special diets and given them extra care, but still haven't managed to relieve their itchiness or improve their skin condition, which is particularly distressing for parents.
To help parents better understand and manage childhood eczema, Oh Pama invited Dr. Chan Yick Chun, Paediatric Specialist, to hold a seminar on Saturday, 13 April 2024, in the afternoon. The event was a complete success.
During the talk, paediatrician Dr Chan Yik-chun and registered Chinese medicine practitioner Wong Ka-wui explained the causes and various treatment methods for childhood eczema from both Western and Chinese medicine perspectives. The professional explanations from the two experts helped parents gain a deeper understanding of the internal and external factors contributing to eczema and provided a range of feasible treatment and care options.
The Q&A session during the lecture was particularly popular with parents, who participated enthusiastically and asked many questions. The experts patiently answered the parents' queries and provided personalised advice, which proved immensely beneficial to them.
